OTTAWA – The Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group, 94.5 Unique FM and Intersport Production announced today a broadcast partnership for the return of Canadian Football League action to the radio in French.
Francophones in the National Capital Region, Eastern Ontario and the Outaouais will be able to follow all games of the Ottawa REDBLACKS, both home and away, on Unique FM. In addition, Unique FM, at 94.5 on the FM dial, will also broadcast select home games of Ottawa Fury FC of the North American Soccer League.
This agreement between the three partners would not be possible without the expertise and presence of Nicholas St-Pierre and his team at Intersport Production. St-Pierre and colleagues have provided the official French-language radio broadcasts of the Ottawa Senators for the past two seasons.
“This is an historic announcement and we’re proud to be associated with OSEG and to enrich our sports programming on the Unique FM airwaves,” said St-Pierre. “With this agreement, Intersport solidifies its position as a leader in the Francophone sports scene in the National Capital Region.”
The partnership was launched today on the air during the Unique FM program Véro Cité, as the station celebrated its journée du ROUGE et NOIR.

The broadcast of REDBLACKS games on Unique FM will begin in June and in April for Fury FC.
