OTTAWA — The Ottawa REDBLACKS of the Canadian Football League announced today the team will hold an intrasquad practice and game on Saturday, June 7 in Gatineau at the Complexe sportif Mont-Bleu.
All fans are welcome to attend.
“We know that football is big in Gatineau and the Outaouais and this is another step by our organization to strengthen our ties with the many CFL fans of Western Quebec,” said Marcel Desjardins, GM of the REDBLACKS.
The REDBLACKS signed wide receiver Simon Le Marquand, a Gatineau native, in December. Le Marquand, who grew up less than a kilometer from the Complexe sportif Mont-Bleu, will be competing for a roster position when training camp begins on June 1 at Keith Harris Stadium on Carleton University campus.
The Complexe sportif Mont-Bleu is located at 389 Cité-des-Jeunes Blvd., in the Hull sector of Gatineau.
