OTTAWA – Newly-acquired centre Jon Gott has signed a contract extension with the Ottawa REDBLACKS of the Canadian Football League.
The deal is for two years (2014 and 2015) with an option for the 2016 season.
The REDBLACKS added Gott to the team’s roster on Tuesday in a trade with the Calgary Stampeders which saw Ottawa acquire the five-year veteran for the first overall selection in the 2014 CFL Draft.
The REDBLACKS have also added Canadian receiver Robin Medeiros from Bishop’s University.
