OTTAWA – The Ottawa REDBLACKS of the Canadian Football League have assembled the team’s inaugural roster following the completion of the team’s first training camp, held on the campus of Carleton University.
Camp began with the arrivals of rookies on May 28, followed by the presence of veterans who joined the first-year players for full training camp at Keith Harris Stadium on June 1.
The team has played two pre-season games, including a 26-10 victory over the Alouettes in Montreal on Friday night.
The REDBLACKS have a bye during the CFL’s opening week of the 2014 schedule before beginning the team’s inaugural regular-season in Winnipeg on July 3. The team will also play in Edmonton on July 11 before kicking off the home schedule on July 18 at TD Place at Lansdowne against the Toronto Argonauts.
