OTTAWA- Four lucky REBLACKS season ticket holders were selected for a special surprise delivery Tuesday afternoon. REBLACKS quarterback Henry Burris and team mascot Big Joe hit the road with Purolator to deliver special packages to the lucky fans.
One by one Burris and Big Joe personally delivered packages to the home or business of the season ticket holders. The pair were able to talk with fans, sign autographs and pose for pictures.
The excitement was infectious as fans shared their anticipation while talking football with Burris. Making it evident how pumped up #RNation is for the sold out home opener on July 18th at TD Place.
All season ticket holders will have their chance to get excited about the upcoming game when they attend an open house at TD Place tonight. They will have a chance to check out the new stadium and meet Big Joe and the REDBLACKS.
Throughout the whole event Burris repeatedly emphasized the importance of the team’s devoted fans:
“From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much! Like Purolator, the Ottawa REDBLACKS we will deliver!”
