March 25, 2008: CFL awards franchise to Ottawa Sports & Entertainment Group. STORY

March 26, 2008: Ottawa football fans are given the opportunity to register for season tickets. Mayor Larry O’Brien was the first to put his name in.

July 20, 2008: The city demolishes the south-side stands at Frank Clair Stadium.

Sept. 1, 2009: OSEG formally applies for a United Soccer Leagues pro team.

Nov. 16, 2009: City votes 15-9 to move forward with the OSEG proposal to redevelop Lansdowne.

May 2, 2010: Three architects unveil their vision for the park, which includes a refurbished Frank Clair Stadium with a mix of retail space, residential development and public squares. STORY

June 20, 2011: OSEG confirms it will have a pro soccer team in newly-named North American Soccer League.

Dec. 6, 2012: OSEG starts online campaign for name suggestions for its soccer and football teams.

June 27, 2014: REBLACKS move into their new home, TD Place, and have their first practice. STORY

July 3, 2014: REDBLACKS make their CFL regular season debut in Winnipeg. STORY
Chevon Walker scores the franchise’s first touchdown. STORY

July 9, 2014: OSEG holds open house for all REDBLACKS and Fury FC season ticket holders. Mayor Jim Watson and council members going representatives form OSEG and TD Bank Group for official ribbon cutting of TD Place stadium. STORY

 

 

You REDBLACKS ticket is also a bus pass for free transit to and from TD Place on game days.  The service starts 3-hours before and extends for 3-hours after the game.  Your ticket also entitles you to free Park and Shuttle service from several parking lots near TD Place or free Park & Ride service on OC Transpo and STO.  For more information visit our Transportation Page.
