Ottawa – The City of Ottawa is pleased to welcome the Ottawa REDBLACKS to City Hall for a lunchtime pep rally on Thursday, July 17 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Get your game face on and join Mayor Jim Watson at Marion Dewar Plaza, outside 110 Laurier Avenue East, to help fire up the REDBLACKS players before their July 18 home opener at TD Place.

Grab some lunch on site and enjoy a free concert featuring country music powerhouse Blackwell, starting at 11 a.m. The REDBLACKS cheer squad will also perform and some of your favourite REDBLACKS players will be available to sign autographs, including Henry Burris, Chevon Walker, John Gott and Keith Shologan.

Your REDBLACKS ticket is also a bus pass for free transit to and from TD Place on game days.  The service starts 3-hours before and extends for 3-hours after the game.  Your ticket also entitles you to free Park and Shuttle service from several parking lots near TD Place or free Park & Ride service on OC Transpo and STO.  For more information visit our Transportation Page.
