OTTAWA – The Ottawa REDBLACKS today announced that this Saturday’s game against the Saskatchewan Roughriders is sold out, with the exception of a limited number of premium seats and single seats in other sections. It’s the team’s second sellout in as many home games at the new TD Place at Lansdowne.
“We’re grateful and overwhelmed by the support we’re received from fans in Ottawa/Gatineau,” said Jeff Hunt, President of the REDBLACKS’ parent company, OSEG Sports. “We sold over 17,000 season tickets and found a way to squeeze-in over 24,300 on opening night, which was incredible, and here we are once again in that same position. I can hardly wait for game day.”

The REDBLACKS transportation plan to and from TD Place will once again be in full effect. Visit Transportation Page or octranspo1.com and plan your trip to the game before you leave home. A game ticket is also a ticket to ride for free on any OC Transpo or STO bus commencing three-hours before game-time and continuing for three-hours after the game’s conclusion. The REDBLACKS Park &; Shuttle service, where fans can park for free on nearby lots and ride a free shuttle to TD Place, commences at 4:30 p.m. OC Transpo and STO shuttle service direct to TD Place from several Park &; Ride lots commences at 5:00 p.m. Cyclists can Bike &; Park for free at Lansdowne in a secure area near the Aberdeen Pavilion.
Gates at Lansdowne will open the public at 4 p.m. The Sarah McClurg Band will play an outdoor show on the Aberdeen’s licensed South Court beginning at 5 p.m., with bouncy inflatables for the kids and a great selection of food and beverages catered by Lone Star. Post-game, The Heart and Crown is throwing a party on the South Court with “The Strangers” playing on stage and more great food and beverage options. It’s come early, stay late.
Your REDBLACKS ticket is also a bus pass for free transit to and from TD Place on game days. The service starts 3-hours before and extends for 3-hours after the game. Your ticket also entitles you to free Park and Shuttle service from several parking lots near TD Place or free Park & Ride service on OC Transpo and STO.
