Halftime Report: Dobson Collins Makes REDBLACKS History

Dobson Collins’ made REDBLACKS history tonight scoring the first ever touchdown in franchise history at TD Place.

Thomas DeMarco punted the ball down field from the Ottawa 53-yard line. Collins took off down the sideline to retrieve the bouncing 73 yard punt, putting Ottawa on the board just over five minutes into the second quarter.

The crowd erupted with excitement while red fireworks sored into the air lighting up the sky above the north stands. The sounds of chainsaws quickly filled the stadium as The Algonquin College logger sports team got to work cutting the first ever ceremonial wood cookie in the endzone.

The Ottawa REDBLACKS trail the Saskatchewan Roughriders 32-7 after 30 minutes.
