OTTAWA – The Ottawa REDBLACKS of the Canadian Football League made the following transactions today:
- SIGNED national defensive back Hugo Lopez (6-3, 210, Toronto); added to practice roster
- ADDED international running back Michael Hayes to active roster
- SIGNED international wide receiver Kevin Cummings (6-3, 184, Oregon State); added to practice roster
- SIGNED international linebacker John Kanongata’a (5-11, 215, Montana); added to practice roster
- ADDED international quarterback Alex Carder to active roster
- ADDED international defensive lineman Monté Lewis to active roster
The REDBLACKS return to the field on Wednesday for practice in preparation for the team’s next game on Sunday, August 24 at TD Place against the Calgary Stampeders. Kickoff is at 3 p.m
