First off, thank you to the fans for your incredible support for us at TD Place. It truly makes a difference and the players feed off of your energy. Our stadium is unique to the CFL and our team loves the experience of playing at home. The word is quickly spreading around the CFL and the football world that the Ottawa-Gatineau area is a great place to live and play football. This franchise has a bright future and there will be many great days ahead for the REDBLACKS.
The last couple weeks we faced the top 2 teams in the CFL in Edmonton and Calgary. We did not get the results we wanted but our players and coaches are continuing to work hard and find ways to get better. Right now, we are doing a lot of the hard work to give ourselves a chance to win in the 4th quarter but need to find ways to make the plays necessary to win the game.
We will keep our chins up and are excited to play some big games coming up in the future. Next up is our rivals the Alouettes Friday night in Montreal. Labour Day weekend is always an exciting time in the CFL and it kicks off the 2nd half of season. There is a lot of football left to be played and a lot to play for. We will make every effort to continue to grow as fast as we can as team to give us the best chance to win. Thanks again for your support.
