Wallace Miles put on a show in Montreal, scoring the team’s only touchdown and collecting seven catches for over 100 yards. Ottawa REDBLACKS fans were impressed by the wide receivers’ performance in the Labour Day weekend game, voting him the REDBLACKS Mobile App Player of the Game.
After the heartbreaking loss, Miles expressed gratitude for the honour the fans had bestowed upon him, but he felt his performance was mediocre.
He loves that the fans appreciate what he does on the field, but it is equally as important to put out a win.
Miles knows he has room for improvement on the field and will be focusing on catching the ball when it counts. He was disappointed with two dropped passes early in the game that could have resulted in first downs.
Going into this week’s matchup with the BC Lions, Miles says the REDBLACKS will be focusing on executing each play one at a time. The REDBLACKS will be looking for their second win at home and second of the season this Friday at TD Place.
