OTTAWA – The Ottawa REDBLACKS announced that this Friday’s home game against the Montreal Alouettes is sold out with the exception of a very limited number of obstructed view seats (partially blocked by players on the sidelines or safety railings in the stands).  It’s the team’s sixth consecutive sellout at TD Place in as many home games this season.

“I’m humbled by the support Ottawa-Gatineau fans have given the team this season,” said Jeff Hunt, President of OSEG Sports, the REDBLACKS’ parent company.  “They’ve made TD Place THE place to be and all of us associated with the team and TD Place thank the fans for coming out and creating such a vibrant atmosphere in the facility.”

After Friday’s game against the Alouettes, only three home games remain on the REDBLACKS’ regular season schedule: October 3 versus Winnipeg, October 24 versus Montreal and October 31 versus Hamilton.  Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets well in advance to assure themselves of a seat by visiting OttawaREDBLACKS.com or calling 613.232.6767 x1.

Ottawa-Gatineau residents that have yet to experience TD Place have an opportunity to do so this Sunday at 3 p.m. when the NASL’s Ottawa Fury FC host Minnesota United FC.  It’s going to be a special day for the whole family with fun activities presented by the Big Joe and Friends Kid’s Club.
