Gabriel Pizza Announces REDBLACKS Contest North or South Side – State Your Allegiance
OTTAWA – The world is full of famous rivalries: Hatfields vs. McCoys; Ali vs. Frazier. One of the biggest feud remains with north side and south side Ottawa football fans. The competition continues in Gabriel Pizza’s quest to find the ultimate REDBLACKS Pizza with the Northside vs. Southside Pizza Contest.
Beginning Friday, September 26th, Gabriel Pizza will be launching two new 4-topping recipes where fans and customers are encouraged to cast their vote for their favourite pizza.
The Northside – Steak, Bacon, Hot Peppers, Red Onion, topped off with drizzled BBQ sauce.
The Southside – Mushroom, Chorizo Sausage, Roasted Red Peppers, Red Onion.
The two new pizzas will be available at all Gabriel Pizza locations and by-the-slice at TD Place from September 26th until October 24th. Fans can cast a vote through Twitter, Facebook and Instagram by posting a message or picture with the hashtag #NORTHSIDEGABES or #SOUTHSIDEGABES.

The winning recipe selection, which is based on the combined number of votes and orders, will become the official REDBLACKS Pizza and a permanent fixture on the menu. The winning pizza will be announced at TD Place during the October 24th Montreal game.
