GATINEAU, March 3rd 2015 – The general-manager of 104,7 fm, Mr. Bob Rioux, is proud to announce that Denis Piché will join his broadcast team as colour commentator for the REDBLACKS home games for the 2015 season.
Mr. Rioux had previously introduced the two other members at a press conference on February 5th, with Marc Legault as play-by-play man and Simon Le Marquand as sideline reporter. Denis Piché completes the trio as a known member of the football community in Ottawa and a future member of the Ottawa Gee-Gee’s Hall of Fame (May 2015).
“We are very happy and proud to be able to count on a man of his calibre on our team,” said Mr. Rioux. ” Denis Piché will make a heck of a team with Mark Legault, who can be heard on our station and Simon Le Marquand, who is a guy from here who played football in the Subway Ligue as well as 4 seasons with the Gee-Gee’s and time with Hamilton and Ottawa of the CFL.”
