Canadian Football League teams were required to reduce the number of players in camp to 65, plus non-counters, before 11:59 p.m. Sunday. The Ottawa REDBLACKS released the following players:
- International defensive lineman Chase Baker
- International defensive back John Stevenson
- International running back Akeem Shavers
- International receiver Lanear Sampson
- National running back Guillaume Bourassa
- National offensive lineman Anthony Barrette
- International wide receiver Brelan Chancellor
The REDBLACKS also made the following transactions:
- TRANSFERED international defensive back Travell Dixon to suspended list
- TRANSFERED national wide receiver Jake Harty to six-game injured list
REDBLACKS’ training camp continues at Keith Harris Stadium on the campus of Carleton University on Monday, June 15 at 8:30 a.m. and will host an intra-squad game in Gatineau on Thursday, June 8 at 7 p.m. at Complexe sportif Mont-Bleu.
