July 3, Serena Ryder at TD Place. July 4, the REDBLACKS home opener against the BC Lions. July 5, Ottawa Fury FC vs. Jacksonville. And in between the big events, the greatest patio spaces in Ottawa/Gatineau serving up your favourite foods and bevvies with lots of other things to do and sights to see. Serena will be joined at TD Place by the Strumbellas and Ottawa party band The Lionyls. The big show is in the intimate confines of the arena at TD Place and it’s going to be jam-packed. The free concert was announced last month and tickets went faster than a Ryder guitar lick.
The REDBLACKS’ home opener on July 4 will be spectacular. Last season, when the team sold out all nine home games at TD Place, our stadium gained a reputation for being the biggest party destination in town. If you were there, you know what we’re talking about. If not, find out what all the buzz is about. Tickets are still available for the opener but they’re going fast.
The Fury FC match on July 5 will be fun in the sun! Ottawa has established itself as a soccer city during the FIFA Women’s World Cup. It will be rockin’ fun in the sun.
The very next weekend, there’s another big party at TD Place. Skratch Bastid’s BBQ, a celebration of music and food.
