On Monday, August 10, 14 REDBLACKS players enjoyed an afternoon with over 50 kids at Camp Quality EO, near Lanark, Ontario.
Camp Quality is a non-profit volunteer organization that provides empowering camp experiences, and year-round support, for children with cancer and their families. The camp is a week long and strives to offer its campers the chance to just feel like a kid again.
Check out all the photos from the REDBLACKS visit to Camp Quality!
REDBLACKS players in attendance included: DL Moton Hopkins, DL Keith Shologan, FB Jordan Verdone, LB David Hinds, DL Matt Acree, DL Andrew Marshall, REC Alex Pierzchalski, DL Ettore Lattanzio, QB Brock Jensen, DB John Boyett, LB Malik Jackson, and LB Damaso Munoz.
Some of the guys even snuck into one of the campers bunks and, as part of all the fun, toliet-papered their room. #pranked
It wouldn’t be a true kids camp without a little prankin #TPtheRooms @REDBLACKS #BestMedicine @CampQualityEO pic.twitter.com/t8262feHIl

Mascot BIG JOE also made an appearance, spending time with the campers playing games and having fun.

Every player agreed that it was they who had benefited the most from the experience, not the campers.
A big thanks to the kids and staff @CampQualityEO for the laughs this afternoon. Made my day!!! pic.twitter.com/ZbT4eoCmKM
