7. Crust & Crate Public House
The newest addition to Lansdowne’s trendy dining options, Crust & Crate Public House, is opened it’s doors only few weeks ago. The Gabriel Pizza-owned, classic Italian-inspired pub will be serving up swanky Al Forno style pizzas and gastropub fare in a colourful, cocktail inspired, beer-loving environment.
They may specialize in pizza but the rest of their menu looks pretty amazing as well. From duck confit poutine to drunken fish tacos, this up-and-coming pub presents a number of delicious dining options.
And Crust & Crate is just one of many on-trend, yet affordable restaurants at Lansdowne. Jack Astor’s, Milestone’s, LOCAL Public Eatery, and JOEY Lansdowne also offer their taste-fueled take on the urban dining experience.

The ROUGE et NOIR Burger will be available at Gate 1 and 4, and in the Budweiser King Club, beside the west end zone and Gate 1. Look out for the Bacon Me Crazy burger coming to BBQs at TD Place soon. Mmmmm. Bacon.
2. The Atmosphere
It’s hard to describe. It’s the combination of everything on this list multiplied by the energy amassed by the assembly.
You can feel the unbridled excitement of everyone in attendance. It’s loud …very loud. A massive tribal experience where everybody is feeling it and bringing it. You get carried away by it. The rush, the nerves. It’s addictive.
A feeling you can’t experience anywhere else in Ottawa/Gatineau. Game day at TD Place.
