Tickets on sale Friday for potential REDBLACKS home playoff game

Tickets for a potential Ottawa REDBLACKS home game in the 103rd Grey Cup Playoffs will be available to the general public on Friday, beginning at 10 a.m.

Fans can reserve a seat for a potential REDBLACKS home playoff game, which would be a first for an Ottawa CFL team in over 30 years. REDBLACKS playoff ticket prices start as low as $27.

Tickets will be available here, or by calling 613-232-6767, ext. 1.

The REDBLACKS have clinched a berth in the 103rd Grey Cup Playoffs, but have two regular-season games remaining to determine the team’s final standing.

Ottawa visits the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Sunday afternoon and completes the regular season on Saturday, November 7 at TD Place against the Ticats in a match that will likely determine final placings in the CFL East Division for the REDBLACKS, the Ticats and the Toronto Argonauts.

A Toronto loss on Friday against the BC Lions combined with an Ottawa win in Hamilton on Sunday would assure the REDBLACKS of at least second place and a home playoff game.

Ottawa would finish first in the East Division and host the Eastern Final on Sunday, November 22 at TD Place within the following scenarios:

  • Wins over Hamilton in the final two games
  • A split with Hamilton in the final two games with greater number of points scored in those two games combined than the Ticats; along with at least one loss by Toronto in the final two Argos games of the season.

Ottawa would finish second in the East Division and host the Eastern Semi-Final on Sunday, November 15 within the following scenarios:

  • A split with Hamilton in the final two games with fewer number of points scored in those two games combined than the Ticats; along with at least one loss by Toronto in the final two Argos games of the season.
  • Losses in the final two games against Hamilton, coupled with two losses by Toronto.

Ottawa would finish third in the East Division and play any divisional playoff game on the road within the following scenario:

  • A split with Hamilton in the final two games, combined by two wins by Toronto, regardless the point differential in the two games between Ottawa and Hamilton.
  • Losses in the final two games against Hamilton, coupled with a win by Toronto.

The Argonauts play consecutive home games at Rogers Centre to end the regular season: against BC this Friday and against Winnipeg on Friday, November 6.

The 103rd Grey Cup presented by Shaw will be held on Sunday, November 29 at Investors Group Field in Winnipeg.
