On Friday, November 20, the REDBLACKS invite everyone to come down to TD Place and take in their final practice before the CFL’s East Final. If you weren’t lucky enough to purchase tickets to Sunday’s playoff game, this is your chance to see the team and show your support as they head into the biggest football game in Ottawa in over 30 years.
Friday is a PD Day for thousands of children throughout Ottawa-Gatineau, so this would make for a great family outing. Practice runs from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. and it will be preceded by a free public skate in the arena at TD Place. So bring the kids, bring your skates and a helmet and we’ll see you on the ice starting at 10 a.m.
To attend the skate and/or open practice on Friday, visit TD Place, 1015 Bank St. Enter at Gate 2 between 9:45 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Skaters should note that the use of helmets at TD Place Arena is mandatory for all aged 17 and under. The use of helmets by all other skaters is strongly encouraged.
