As the REDBLACKS first playoff game draws near, we throwback to over 25 years ago when they defeated the Ti-Cats in the East Semi-Finals.
Head coach George Brancato led the Ottawa Rough Riders to an 8-6-2 record, good for second in the East. They hosted the East Semi-Final at Lansdowne against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. QB Condredge Holloway threw darts all over the field, including a an oustanding touchdown pass to now REDBLACKS colour commentator Jeff Avery.
The Rough Riders defeated the Tabbies 29-26 and advanced to the East Division Final, where they would eventually fall to the Montreal Alouettes.
