The Ottawa REDBLACKS summer homestand continues this weekend as they host the Edmonton Eskimos in a re-match of this year’s season-opener. TD Place will be packed once again as Henry Burris leads his team into battle but, as always, there is plenty more to do in and around the stadium on game day. Here are a few options:
Battle for first
Just six games into the 2016 CFL season and it’s already pretty clear it’s going to be a battle to claim top spot in the East Division. Ottawa is up to the challenge and continues to fight the Toronto Argonauts for top spot, which would earn the winning a team a bye in the first round of the playoffs. With Toronto off this week, an Ottawa win would see the REDBLACKS once again leapfrog the Argos for first place heading into their own bye week.

The Subaru Log Cabin has already become a popular attraction for football fans looking to take in the game from a different perspective. Located behind the west end zone, the special section features its own bar and exclusive platform for watching the REDBLACKS in action. If you’re planning to come to the game early or stay late, you won’t go hungry … or thirsty.
