The Ottawa REDBLACKS acquired a 2018 draft pick on Friday in three-team deal with the Edmonton Eskimos and BC Lions.
As part of the deal, the REDBLACKS swapped American defensive linemen, sending Jake Ceresna to Edmonton in exchange for Odell Willis. Ottawa then sent Willis to the BC Lions in exchange for a fourth-round draft choice in 2018 and a player off the Lions’ negotiation list.
The 23-year-old Ceresna has 18 defensive tackles and two sacks in his rookie season with Ottawa last season.
